Prescription t/d Diet

Hill's* Prescription Diet* Canine t/d and Prescription Diet Feline t/d* are specially formulated to assist in the care of pets with dental disease. They are clinically proven to be extremely effective following appropriate dental treatment. They are different from other dry pet foods in that the kibbles (the individual pieces of food) are larger and do not shatter immediately when bitten into. Instead, the tooth penetrates the kibble and deposits of plaque and other debris are wiped from the surface, helping to prevent problems such as bad breath and tooth loss.

FEEDING GUIDE

All Hill's* Prescription Diet* and Hill's* Science Diet* products are extremely palatable foods that are eagerly accepted by most cats. However, when suffering from FLUTD your cat may have a reduced appetite or be less willing to eat. If your cat does resist a change of food, the following tips may help:

• Introduce the new food gradually - mix it with your cat's usual food, adding more of it each day until you have completed the change-over.
• Warm canned food to body temperature - but no hotter - before feeding
• If you pet refuses to eat for more than 48 hours, discuss the problem with your vet
