Appointments are required for all consultations, including vaccinations, rechecks and surgical procedures. Ideally you should make an appointment at least 1-2 days in advance, though usually you can make an appointment to see us the same day if required. You can ask when you make the appointment to see a particular vet if you wish - otherwise the first available vet will see you at the time.
To make an appointment, all you need to do is phone us during office hours on (02) 9829‑1947
Our Office Hours are:
| Monday to Friday: | 8:00 am - 8:00 pm |
| Saturday: | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm |
| Sunday: | 10:00am - 5:00 pm |
| Public Holidays: | 10:00am - 12:00noon |
Please note that there is a surcharge to consultations on Sundays and Public Holidays.
We are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
If you bring your animal in without an appointment, our vets may not be able to see you straight away. This may be due to other appointments, surgical procedures or the vets being out on a house call. However, we will endeavour to fit you in wherever possible and try to minimise your waiting time if we can.
The order of priority is:
1. Emergency Cases
2. Scheduled Appointments
3. Clients without scheduled appointments
It is in your best interests to make an appointment.
We will also arrange an appointment time for admission of pets for surgery, usually between 8:00am and 9:00am on weekdays only. For your convenience pets can also be admitted for surgery the evening before.
Emergency cases will always be given priority, whether you have an appointment or not.
House Calls are available - by appointment of course. Please try to book house call appointments for between 11am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
Patient pick-up by our nurses is another option, and is cheaper than house calls.
Please note that the After Hours Service is for emergencies only (or problems that you suspect are an emergency) and is not for making appointments.
If you have any questions or comments about any of the above, please phone us.
